Just an update, I checked what you mentioned and could not correct the problem. What i did find that eliminated the problem was shorting out the 1k resistor on the Repeater input (R13) That seems to correct the problem?
So i just soldered in a jumper pin on both inputs resistors thus allowing me to short out the resistor if required. It also gave me more audio, but was able to adj. that down by using the potentiometerJames VE1JCS
James, VE1JCSUserSo how is the update coming along?
Will this new update also implement the use of the secondary port on the controller?
And when will this new update be released, as it would be nice to play with some link radios on the ORP. Currently I have two UHF hand held radios connected on the repeater port for testing purposes and it seems to work great, but would be nice to try connecting up two the second port to do some further testing.Thank You

James, VE1JCSUserDid you ever find anything out about the capacitors?
James
James, VE1JCSUserGood Evening Aaron,
I did find the new info on the V1.1 board that I had ordered, but still during the build I found I was unsure of the capacitors. I had the parts in my inventory stock for the build and the capacitors show as tantalum capacitors (polarized) yet in the pictorial assembly it shows half of them looking to be tantalum capacitors and others of the same value appear to be non polarized standard ceramic capacitors. I am referring to the capacitors “0,1µF/ 100nF tantale (104)” If you follow the assembly diagram you will se what I am referring to. Can this be verified, polarized or not? or are they using a mixture of both?
Thank You
JamesJames, VE1JCSUserThank you for the information Aaron, that did the trick and all seems to work great with these new Generic 7.1 adaptors.
Just patiently waiting on the implementation of the second and third USB sound devices so I can start experimentation on my DR-1x and try linking another device on the second port

James, VE1JCSUserNot sure if I should have started another post or not for this question?
Dose anyone know when the second batch for the Board kits will be available?
I am currently experimenting with a Beaglebone Black rev. C with a home brew PTT and COS circuit built onto a breadboard and two radios for testing. I am looking to go to a raspberry Pi3 format with the SVXLink card, but would like to get a third port on there as well if possible?Or is there a cad drawing available for that board? I would be interested in trying experiment by adding a third port to interface with my DR-1X repeater. I would be adding a link radio and the third port would be an IRLP computer interface.
I have some experience with designing and building boards, both through hole and SMT.James VE1JCS
