    Dale,
With the correct audio files and the correct “modules” i believe it could be done and even activated via DTMF, ill have to look into that as it would be a neat feature for say ARES or RACES toning. Any thoughts Aaron?

    BJ,
I had the same issue and what I ended up doing was using the webgui to do the initial setup for my repeater and then any changes after that I did via a regular text editor and then just restarted the svxlink service manually… as for the webgui resetting the settings when it resets svxlink im not sure how to stop it and i am afraid that when the pi/bbb reboots it will reset those settings again, so instead of running Aarons command for making the svxlink start automatically i think ill set it up as a cron job to avoid all setting being “reeset” to web gui standards. if you find a way to disable the “resetting” of settings please let me know.
    thanks,
    Devan

Personal opinion is if it works then that’s the way to go hihi I’ll have to do the same on my raspberry Pi

I am having the same issue with my Raspberry pi I agree it is acting like SVXLINK is just starting up too fast… if I go and run “sudo service svxlink restart” it comes back no problem but a full reboot the sound card fails to be seen.

As of 2 days ago after many configuration changes over the past week my 6 Meter Repeater controller has been traded out for a Raspberry Pi 2 running svxlink working perfectly with many many compliments on its capabilities and general usability.

ok… next question… with the open repeater web gui in place is it possible for me to use all of svxlink’s features if I enable them and configure via command line?
