I was actually asking about any sounds from ORP? Does is play anything if you change the long ID to Basic Voice? How about short ID? Do you hear morse ID? In your port settings you should have your sound card showing in the drop down. Also there is an advance button at the bottom of the ports page that should show you your aplay and arecord results? Also try changing the channel. Only one channel will be used, the left or right. Let me know if any of that helps.

Aaron, N3MBHForum AdministratorThis could be a problem if you are using VOX for RX. Is that the case?

Aaron, N3MBHForum AdministratorAre you getting any sounds from the Pi? I think Richard updated some sounds recently in the script so maybe that part didn’t build properly. Just trying to narrow down your issue. Thanks.

Aaron, N3MBHForum AdministratorGreetings,
Until we do the next build with the latest version of Raspbian that supports the RPI3, you should be able to do a build yourself. The build script for the RPI 2 can be found here: https://github.com/OpenRepeater/scripts/tree/1.1.x/RasPi-B%2B-RasPi-2
The download that is referenced in the top of the script should link to the latest Raspbian Lite image as the link is dynamic. You can also find that here: https://www.raspberrypi.org/downloads/raspbian/
We use Raspbian Lite which is more slimmed down and has not desktop gui overhead since ORP is designed to run headless. The main thing our build is missing the correct version of Raspbian Lite that has the support for the new RPI3 processor.
The rest of the build script should work fine if you follow the instruction. Hope that helps.

Aaron, N3MBHForum AdministratorMischa,
I have moved this into a new General Forum. I finally got a chance to look at the sites. This looks like a pretty cool setup. Might provide some inspiration down the road. Thanks for sharing!73,

Aaron, N3MBHForum AdministratorThe interface board actually has nothing to do with this, it is all handled in the software (svxlink core). While by default it does mute the dtmf for security and the current version of ORP doesn’t have it built into the web gui to disable it, it is a pretty simple edit. We have some of the lesser used features hard coded in our script.
The one you are after is DTMF_MUTING which is set to enabled (DTMF_MUTING=1). This would need to be changed to DTMF_MUTING=0. I have a tutorial I am working on that explains where to make these changes.

Sorry I wasn’t able to get back to you sooner. No I would say that not every feature SVXLink will be implemented. Pre-emphasis is on my todo list. I plan to incorporate the most useful and practical features and how they are executed in the GUI is important. The main goal of ORP is to make SVXLink more accessible to the majority. Those that need something very specific are probably better off using straight svxlink or modifying ORP. I have a Knowledge Base article I am working on to explain how to do that.73,

Aaron, N3MBHForum AdministratorJust to make sure you are both on RPI2s…correct. I will test and see what results I get. Make sure that there are no bugs with the current image builds. Thanks.
