so i have a kenwood receiver with active low output and i couldnt get it to work on the pi. so i built a circiut that works with the easydigi board. the 25v 1000uf capacitor fixes the audio lag issue of the tx dropping before the audio is finished and keeps the transmitter going after the cor signal has dropped for approximately 1.5 to 2 seconds. the only thing mentioned so far by other hams is that they can hear the last part of their qso being transmitted after they unkey. it also helps with the kerchunkers since the capacitor doesnt charge up fast enough to engage the transmitter.
aaron, if you shoot me an email, i will send you the schematic i have on it. i dont see anywhere to upload a pic.
Sounds good. I just shot you an email. Richard is also working on a simplified interface design.
