Hi all
Currently have a new openrepeater setup and its working ok. But when I putty in to setup the static IP address etc. I get a message after I make a change to the dhcpd.conf file.
its says sudo: unable to resolve host openrepeater: Name or service not known.
My IP settings in the dhcpd.conf file are below:
#fallback static_eth0
interface eth0
static ip_address=192.168.3.2/24
static routers=192.168.3.254
static domain_name_servers=8.8.8.8
The internet is working ok at the site and the other repeater is ok. For some reason I cannot login to the web interface, only putty is working. I have checked my port forwarding and believe this is ok. The web gui works ok, if you are on the network locally.
The build of open repeater is the current released version.
Hopefully someone can help.
Regards
Paul

Sorry no one got back to you sooner. My recommendation would be to leave the Pi set as DHCP and set your static IP within your router. This is usually way more reliable and flexible.
OpenRepeater is offered free of charge. Find out how you can support us.
