    When my openrepeater identifies with short id, the first letter of the ID is not heard, once the radio is in TX and the receiveing radio CTCSS squelch opens the first letter in the ID has already been sent. Is it possible to add a few ms, maybe 100ms delay in the CW ID so the receiving stations have time to open tone squelch before it is sent ?

    I think the fastest way to try would be to just add a space before the callsign
